Hort Couture Stackables™
|
|
The Stackables™ packaging system is truly a revolutionary method to move tropicals from Florida to IGC's across the United States and Canada. Traditional shipments require up to two weeks after shipment to get product into retail-ready condition. With the Stackables system, you essentially unpack the tropicals, price them and display them in the store the same day! The Stackables packaging system uses intelligent packaging techniques and reinforced cardboard to safely and effectively ship tropicals from Florida using a palletized shipping system. This unique system allows a retailer to select plant material in various container sizes (3.5" - 10" containers) and create a "stack" of material to be delivered in pristine, retail-ready condition. |

Sage Vertical Garden System-
|
![]() |
The Sage Vertical Garden Systems is a new commercially available hydroponic, modular green wall system. Unlike soil-based systems that degrade over time, our system utilizes rockwool as the growing medium, that is inert and structurally stable. Sage is based in Chicago, IL, but our green wall technology was developed in the UK in 2006. Although new to the United States, it has a proven track record in the UK and Northern Europe. The cornerstone of the Sage Vertical Garden System is the Biotile™. The Biotile™ is a proprietary modular unit that is durable, lightweight and made of agricultural grade recycled plastic, it houses the rockwool substrate, capillary strips and plant material. The Sage system uses 75% less water than similar soil based systems, it can be used indoors and outside, in northern and southern climates and can support a wider variety of plant species; herbs/veggies, perennials, annuals, small woodies, tropicals and even succulents. Please see samples of the Sage Vertical Garden Systems in booth #307, 1617 and 2505. |

WaterWickBooth# 615 |
![]() |
We've solved watering challenges for consumers! Many indoor gardeners either forget to water plants or are inconsistent in the way they water (whoops, too much; darn, too little). Now there's a solution: WaterWick, a new, patented process from Costa Farms, solves the "I-forgot-to-water" and "how-much-to-water" problem. A wick embedded into the soil when the plant is potted allows it to drink water that's added to a reservoir at the bottom of the pot. WaterWick means plants will get watered properly and plant owners will beam with success. Only from Costa Farms. |
