What will your gift mean to the FNGLA Endowed Research Fund?
Your gift will allow the FNGLA Endowed Research Fund to support more research and educational programs for the horticultural industry. The State of Florida offers a great incentive for gifts to its state universities. For every $100,000 received into the fund, the state is committed to provide 50% in matching funds (annually appropriated). University of Florida endowments spend only 5% of their annual earnings even if the Foundation’s investments generate a higher return. This protects your investment over time. The 5% ensures the fund administrator a predictable flow of income year after year, regardless of market fluctuations. The gift you make today will help support research and education for years to come.
